Sometimes your prospect may be unavailable for a short period, such as a vacation. You can pause a prospect so that they don't advance in any sequences, and won't receive calls or emails from you until you resume them.
You can pause prospects from:
Their prospect profile screen.
The sequence Prospects screen.
Tip: If you need to pause several prospects at once, you can use the prospect bulk actions.
Pause prospects in the prospect profile screen.
In the Prospects screen, double-click the name of the prospect you want to pause.
Click the options button in the detail panel.

In the Sequences screen, click the sequence you want to pause prospects for.
Select the check box next to the prospects you want to pause.
Click the options button.
