Manage your number and voicemail settings
Before you start calling your prospects, you have to configure the essential number and voicemail settings for Outplay Dialer to ensure that you don’t miss an important call or leave a prospect clueless.
- On Outplay, go to Profile → Settings.
- Navigate to the User section and click Calls.
- Here, you can find two types of settings:
- Number Setting
- Voice Recording
Number Setting
- You can complete the following fields as per the table:

Assigned Number |
Displays the number that has been assigned to you by your Admin. |
Show a different number on Caller ID |
Click the option if you want to mask your assigned number while calling a prospect.

Forwarding Number |
Enter a number to which you want to forward all incoming calls made to your Assigned Number. |
Text Forwarding Number |
Enter a number to which you want to forward all incoming text messages sent to your Assigned Number. |
Pass-through Number |
Enter a number through which all incoming calls made to your Assigned Number should pass first. NOTE: Additional charges are applicable when calls are accepted with this option. |
Default Country Code |
Select the default country code for your number. |
- Click Save.
Voice Recording
Under the Voice Recording section, you can record voicemails for your inbound and outbound calls.
- Click the Voice Recording tab in the Calls section.
Create Voicemail for Outbound Calls
- In the Outbound Voicemail section, click Create Voicemail.
- The Create Voicemail window pops up. Click the Record button to start recording your voicemail.
- You can also play and review what you have recorded so far by clicking the green Play button.
- Enter a Name for the recording and click Create.
- Click Save.
TIP: You can create up to 10 different voicemails on Outplay.
TIP: You can set a voicemail as default by clicking the Make Default button before the Delete icon.
Create Voicemail for Inbound Calls
When it comes to creating voicemails for your inbound calls, you have two options:
- Automated
- Recorded
Automated Voicemail for Inbound Calls
- In the Custom Voicemail Message Prompt, type in the message that you would like to convey to the caller. When someone calls you, this is the note they will hear; prompting them to leave a voicemail for you.
- In the Voicemail Message Prompt Voice, select the option for Male or Female. Your message will be read in the voice that you choose.
- Click Save.
Recorded Voicemail for Inbound Calls
- Select the Recorded option under the Inbound Voicemail section. Click Record New Voicemail Prompt.
- The Create Voicemail window pops up. Click the Record button to start recording your voicemail.
- Click the Stop button to stop recording. You can also play and review what you have recorded so far by clicking the green Play button.
- Enter a Name for the recording and click Create.
A voicemail for inbound calls is created and saved.
