How to create a task on Outplay

Create tasks and never miss an opportunity with a prospect

Tasks ensure that you take that necessary step to interact with a prospect to get you closer to winning the opportunity. A task can be a follow-up email or call, an SMS reminder or a WhatsApp text message. Once a task is created, Outplay adds it to the list of Daily Tasks that you have to complete. 

However, most of your tasks are created when your intervention is required to move a prospect to the next step in a sequence.

Create an Email Task
Create a Call Task
Create a LinkedIn Task
Create a Twitter Task
Create a General Task
Create an SMS Task
Create a WhatsApp Task

Create an Email Task

On Outplay, click the Tasks icon on the sidebar menu.



Click Create Task.



The Create a Task window pops up. Here, the Create an Email Task section is displayed by default.



You can complete the fields in the section as per the table below:



Click Save.

The email task is created for the prospect on Outplay. 

Create a Call Task

On Outplay, click the Tasks icon on the sidebar menu.



Click Create Task.



The Create a Task window pops up.



Click the call icon from the top panel. The Create a Call Task section is displayed.



You can complete the fields in the section as per the table below:

Click Save.

The call task is created for the prospect on Outplay. 

Create a LinkedIn Task

On Outplay, click the Tasks icon on the sidebar menu.



Click Create Task.



The Create a Task window pops up.



Click the LinkedIn icon from the top panel. The Create a LinkedIn Task section is displayed.



You can complete the fields in the section as per the table below:



Click Save.

The LinkedIn task is created for the prospect on Outplay. 

Create a Twitter Task

On Outplay, click the Tasks icon on the sidebar menu.



Click Create Task.


The Create a Task window pops up.



Click the Twitter icon from the top panel. The Create a Twitter Task section is displayed.



Click Save.

The Twitter task is created for the prospect on Outplay. 

Create a General Task

On Outplay, click the Tasks icon on the sidebar menu.



Click Create Task.



The Create a Task window pops up.



Click the General icon from the top panel. The Create a General Task section is displayed.



Click Save.

The general task is created for the prospect on Outplay. 

Create an SMS Task

On Outplay, click the Tasks icon on the sidebar menu.



Click Create Task.



The Create a Task window pops up.



Click the SMS icon from the top panel. The Create an SMS Task section is displayed.



Click Save.

The SMS task is created for the prospect on Outplay. 

Create a WhatsApp Task

On Outplay, click the Tasks icon on the sidebar menu.



Click Create Task.



The Create a Task window pops up.



Click the WhatsApp icon from the top panel. The Create a WhatsApp Task section is displayed.



Click Save.

The WhatsApp task is created for the prospect on Outplay.
