Integration Permissions Check in Outplay
New Feature: Integrations Permission Check in Outplay
Outplay has introduced a new feature that helps you verify permissions when connecting integrations. This feature runs a basic permission check between Outplay and the connected system, ensuring that the integration functions seamlessly.
Currently, this feature is available for Salesforce integrations only.
How Does the Permission Check Work?
Once you connect Outplay with Salesforce, you can now run a permission check to verify if the integration is properly configured. Outplay will perform a test run and highlight which permissions are allowed and which are restricted.
Here’s how it works:
Connect Salesforce Integration:
- Go to the Integrations section in Outplay and connect your Salesforce account.
Run Permission Check:
- After the integration is successfully connected, you’ll have the option to Run a Basic Check.
- Outplay will perform a test run on the integration, verifying the permissions between Salesforce and Outplay.
View Permission Results:
- Once the check is complete, you’ll receive a detailed report showing:
- Permissions Allowed: These permissions are correctly configured and will allow data to flow between Outplay and Salesforce as expected.
- Permissions Not Allowed: These permissions are restricted or missing, which might limit some functionality in the integration.
This feature provides transparency and helps ensure that all necessary permissions are in place, preventing any disruptions in data synchronization between the two systems.
Why Use the Integration Permission Check?
- Prevent Integration Issues: Quickly identify missing or restricted permissions before they cause any operational disruptions.
- Save Time on Troubleshooting: Get an immediate overview of what’s working and what needs to be fixed without diving into lengthy troubleshooting processes.
- Optimize Integration Performance: Ensure that your Salesforce integration with Outplay runs smoothly by confirming the right permissions are in place.
Note:
At the moment, this feature is only available for Salesforce. Support for additional integrations will be added in future updates.
