Linking Notes Between Prospects and Opportunities

Outplay now allows users to link notes between Prospects and Opportunities seamlessly. While adding a note to a prospect, users can link it to an opportunity mapped to that prospect. Similarly, while adding a note to an opportunity, users can link it to a related prospect. This feature enhances visibility and ensures better context sharing across teams.

How It Works



Adding a Note to a Prospect and Linking It to an Opportunity



Navigate to the Prospect Page

Go to the Prospects section in Outplay.
Select the prospect to whom you want to add a note.

Add a Note

Click on the Add Note button.
Enter your note details.

Link the Note to an Opportunity

Below the note text box, select the Link to Opportunity option.
Choose an opportunity mapped to this prospect from the dropdown list.

Save the Note

Click Save to link the note successfully.

Navigate to the Opportunities Page

Go to the Opportunities section in Outplay.
Select the opportunity where you want to add a note.

Add a Note

Click on the Add Note button.
Enter your note details.

Link the Note to a Prospect

Below the note text box, select the Link to Prospect option.
Choose a prospect associated with this opportunity from the dropdown list.

Save the Note

Click Save to link the note successfully.

Additional Notes



Linked notes will be visible in both the Prospect and Opportunity details for better context tracking.

This feature helps sales teams maintain comprehensive records and streamline communication between prospects and opportunities.

Users can edit or remove the link if needed by accessing the note.

With this update, managing prospect and opportunity interactions in Outplay becomes more efficient, ensuring crucial information is easily accessible and well-organized.
