Sequence Rulesets
This article talks about how Outplay users can configure and apply Rulesets for their sequences
To create a ruleset
Login to Outplay
Navigate to Settings >> Company >> Sequence Rulesets
Click on the Create New Ruleset option

Sequence Ruleset Settings
Below are the sections that will be part of the Sequence ruleset
Safety Settings – Existing configuration from sequence setting . Please note, the current SMS settings will be moved to Skip step configuration
Stages – Existing configuration from sequence settings
Out-of-office Configuration – Existing configuration from sequence settings
Email Validation – Existing configuration from sequence settings
Include Opt-out links – Existing configuration from sequence settings
Skip Step Configuration: Option to skip the step based on configurations will be available
Skip Email step if email ID is not available
Skip Call step if mobile phone number is not available
Skip LinkedIN step if LinkedIn ID is not available
Skip SMS step if mobile number is not available
Skip SMS step on SMS failure
Skip Email step if email ID is bounced
If skip step configurations are enabled then any matching sequence step will be skipped and an action will be recorded and displayed in Prospect activity section.
How to apply ruleset to sequence
A new field has been introduced in the sequence settings. Click on the drop down to select the ruleset.
You can also view the configuration under the respective ruleset by clicking on View Ruleset.

Points to remember
Only one ruleset can be set as default. The default ruleset will be applicable to all the new sequences automatically.
By default, Outplay will show one recommended default ruleset which Admin can modify if needed but cannot be deleted.
Ruleset if mapped to any active sequence cannot be deleted.
