Set Call Recordings to default
Record calls automatically on Outplay
Within Outplay, Administrators can now enable automatic call recording.
How to enable call recording?
Log in to Outplay & Navigate to Settings.
Click on Org Settings.
Click on Enable call recording.
This will enable recording all your calls by default, SDR’s will not be able to disable this option. Administrators can also enable automated call recording based on the user and number assigned as well. These settings can be found within the Dialer.
Navigate to Settings.
Click on Dialer.
Next to each number, there will be a dropdown that specifies the call recording setting for each number and user, screenshot below.
Here, the system will give the admin an option to set the call recording option against the users who may require different recording settings. By default, it will copy the settings from Org settings i.e. if it is disabled in there, then by default, it will be disabled in org settings.
The Dropdown will show the below opinions.
Org Default: The user inherits the setting set under Org settings i.e. whether the call recording is enabled/disabled at the company level.
On-by Default: Overrides org settings and the user has recording turned on. Here, the user cannot disable the recording option from the dialer.
Off-by Default: Overrides org settings and the user has recording turned off. Here, the user cannot enable the recording option from the dialer.
