Single Select Field Type for Custom Fields in Outplay

Outplay now supports the Single Select field type, allowing users to create custom fields for Prospects, Accounts, and Opportunities. This feature enables better data structuring and streamlined categorization, ensuring consistency in information management.

How to Create a Custom Field with Single Select Type



Step 1: Navigate to Settings >> Field Configuration



Go to Settings in Outplay.

Click on Field configuration >> Custom Fields under the relevant section (Prospects, Accounts, or Opportunities).

Click on Create Custom Field.

Step 2: Select Field Type



In the Field Type dropdown, choose Single Select.

Enter a Field Name that defines the purpose of the field.

Add predefined options that users can select from.

Step 3: Save and Apply



Click Save to create the field.

The custom field will now be available when adding or editing Prospects, Accounts, or Opportunities.

Users can select a value from the predefined options while filling out details.

Additional Notes



Admins can modify predefined options anytime from the Custom Fields settings.

Single Select fields can be used in filters for better data segmentation.

This feature helps maintain structured and standardized data entry across the platform.

With the Single Select field type, Outplay enhances customization and data consistency, making it easier to manage sales and engagement processes effectively.
