As a sales professional, managing your prospects is essential to your success. Outplay makes it easy to organize, filter and sort your prospects so that you can focus on the most promising leads. 

In this article, we'll explore the different types of filters and sort available in the Prospects section of Outplay, and how you can use them to streamline your sales process and access prospects effortlessly.

The Prospects section is designed to give you maximum control over your data, with customizable filters that offer unparalleled flexibility. 

These filters have been carefully grouped to make them easy to find and use.
In addition to the default and custom fields available for prospects, you can also filter your prospects by default and custom fields for accounts.



This makes it easy to find the data you need and tailor your prospecting efforts to your specific goals.

NOTE: These filters are also available in the Prospects section in all sequences.

Prospect filters include the following options: 

Prospect Fields

Account: Filter prospects by the account they belong to.
Created On: Filter prospects by the date they were added to Outplay.
Email ID: Filter prospects by their email address.
Is Hotlead: Filter prospects based on whether they have been identified as a hot lead or not.
Modified On: Filter prospects by the date they were last modified in Outplay.
Name: Filter prospects by their name.
Opted Out: Filter prospects by whether or not they have opted out of your emails.
Owned By: Filter prospects by the team member who owns them.
Phone Number: Filter prospects by their phone number.
Prospect Stage: Filter prospects by their stage in the sales funnel.
Team: Filter prospects by the team they are assigned to.
Time Zone: Filter prospects by the time zone they are located in.

Prospect Pre Defined Fields

Designation: Filter prospects by their job title or role.
FirstName: Filter prospects by their first name.
LastName: Filter prospects by their last name.
City: Filter prospects by the city they are located in.
Company: Filter prospects based on the company they work for.
Country: Filter prospects by the country they are located in.
Facebook: Filter prospects by their Facebook profile URL.
LinkedIn: Filter prospects by their LinkedIn profile URL.
State: Filter prospects by the state they are located in.
Twitter: Filter prospects by their Twitter profile URL.

Account Fields

Account Owner: Filter prospects by the owner of the account they belong to.
Account Stage: Filter prospects by the stage of the account they belong to.

Prospect Stats Field

Booked Meetings: Filter prospects by whether or not they have booked a meeting.
Clicks: Filter prospects by whether or not they have clicked on any links in your emails.
Engagement: Filter prospects by their overall engagement level.
First Contacted Date: Filter prospects by the date you first contacted them.
Opens: Filter prospects by whether or not they have opened any of your emails.
Opted Out Date: Filter prospects by the date they opted out of your emails.
Recently Clicked Date: Filter prospects by the date they most recently clicked on one of your links.
Recently Contacted Date: Filter prospects by the date you most recently contacted them.
Recently Opened Date: Filter prospects by the date they most recently opened one of your emails.
Recently Replied Date: Filter prospects by the date they most recently replied to one of your emails.
Replies: Filter prospects by whether or not they have replied to any of your emails.

Sequence Fields

In Sequence: Filter prospects by whether or not they are currently in a sequence.
Sequence: Filter prospects by the sequence they are added or enrolled in.
Sequence Status: Filter prospects by the status of the sequence they are in.

Prospect Call Fields

Call Outcome: Filter prospects by the outcome of previous calls with them.

Sequence Step Fields

Current Sequence Step: Filter prospects by the current step of the sequence they are in.
Sequence Step Type: Filter prospects by the type of step in the sequence they are in.

Tag Fields

Tags: Filter prospects by the tags assigned to them.

Co-owner fields

Owned/Co-Owned By: Filter prospects by the team member who owns/co-owns them.

Prospect Fields

Status: Filter prospects by their overall status (OOO, OptedOut, etc.).

Prospect Email Fields

Email Validation Status: Filter prospects by specific email validation statuses or whether their email address has been validated or not.


NOTE: You can apply filters to the Prospects section and save them as a view by clicking the Save As View button.



Sort in Prospects



Sorting in the Prospects section allows you to organize your list of prospects based on specific criteria such as their name, email address, engagement level, and other attributes. By using sorting, you can quickly find and prioritize the most relevant prospects, which can help you improve your sales efforts.



You can sort prospects with the following options:

Name: Sort prospects alphabetically by their full name.
Email ID: Sort prospects alphabetically by their email address.
Phone Number: Sort prospects numerically by their phone number.
Created On: Sort prospects by the date they were added to Outplay.
Account: Sort prospects alphabetically by the account they belong to.
Modified On: Sort prospects by the date they were last modified in Outplay.
Owned By: Sort prospects alphabetically by the team member who owns them.
Recently Contacted Date: Sort prospects by the date you most recently contacted them.
Engagement: Sort prospects by their overall engagement level (high, medium, low, or none).
Recent Opened Date: Sort prospects by the date they most recently opened one of your emails.
Recently Clicked Date: Sort prospects by the date they most recently clicked on one of your links.
Recently Replied Date: Sort prospects by the date they most recently replied to one of your emails.
Company: Sort prospects alphabetically by the company they work for.


NOTE: You can apply the sort and view the prospects list in Ascending or Descending order.
Moreover, you can also sort prospects with any custom fields that were created for prospects or accounts.
