Salesforce Sandbox Integration

Connect your Salesforce Sandbox with Outplay

A Sandbox is a known isolated testing environment. You can use them for development, testing, and training, without compromising the data and applications in your production org. With the Outplay-Salesforce integration, you can connect either a Salesforce production organization or Salesforce sandbox to Outplay.

If the integration is already installed, but your Salesforce production organization is currently connected to Outplay, connect your Salesforce sandbox to Outplay.

• Install the integration package in your Salesforce sandbox.
• In your Outplay, go to your Profile >> Settings >> Integrations and API >> Click on the drop down of the Salesforce Integration.
• The drop down will provide you with two options,
  
  • Salesforce
  • Salesforce Sandbox
• Choose the Salesforce Sandbox.
• Enter your Salesforce sandbox credentials and click Log In to Sandbox.
• Review the integration permissions, then click Allow.

When you're ready to reconnect your Salesforce production organization to Outplay:

• Ensure the integration package is installed in your Salesforce production organization.
• In your Outplay, go to your Profile >> Settings >> Integrations and API >> Click on the drop down of the Salesforce Integration.
• Choose Salesforce.
• Enter your Salesforce production organization credentials and click Log In.
• Review the integration permissions, then click Allow.
  
  

If you choose Salesforce, then Outplay will take you to the production URL of the Salesforce. If you choose Salesforce Sandbox, then Outplay will take you to the sandbox URL of salesforce.

In terms of functionalities, there wont be be any changes in particular. The features and functionalities of Salesforce Integration and Salesforce Sandbox remains the same.
