Conditional and Dates Variables

Conditional Variables:

You can add conditional and date variables to the emails while creating your custom template for your sequences.

You can find the options in email editor named as { } Variables

Please click on "{ } Variables" button and then click "Others" to open up the list of all the conditional variables available to use. Please find the below screenshot to understand the same: 




Note: Date variables are also available once you scroll down halfway in the list under the Others tab. 

Here is an example of how to make use of these variables and understand the best scenario to use them.

Example:

Conditional Variable in use: Hi {{#if firstname}}{{firstname}}{{#else}}There{{#endif}} this conditional variable will look for the value in the first name field if its empty then it'll use the value "There" from the conditional variable and send the email
