How to add Opportunity Lost Reasons

When an opportunity is lost, it is important to understand the reason for the loss in order to improve your sales process and avoid similar losses in the future.

On Outplay, you can add predetermined opportunity lost reasons to make it easier for your sales team to update the outcome of an opportunity. Here's how you can add an opportunity lost reason on Outplay:

Log into Outplay. Under the Engagement section, go to Profile >> Settings.

Click Stages from the sidebar menu.

Navigate to the Opportunity Lost Reasons tab.

Here, you can view and manage all available opportunity lost reasons. Click the Add Lost Reason button.

The Add Lost Reason window pops up. Here, you can enter a reason as to why an opportunity was lost in the field provided.

Click Add.

The opportunity lost reason is added successfully. 

Now, while updating the outcome of an opportunity, you can find the same reason in the outcome options. 

NOTE: You can edit or delete an opportunity lost reason by clicking the More Options button for a reason and selecting the preferred action. However, an Opportunity Lost Reason cannot be deleted if any opportunity is associated with the same.
