      How to Set Up Slack Notifications for Conversation Intelligence

      Get Notified about Pre-call Actions, Call Summaries, Comments, and Action Items in Slack

      With Slack for Conversation Intelligence, you can stay updated on important events related to your calls without having to constantly check Outplay. Now, receive instant notifications on the app you have open all day for pre-call actions, call summaries, comments, action items, and more. 


      In this support article, we'll guide you through the simple steps to set up Slack notifications for Conversation Intelligence on Outplay.

      Connect Outplay to Slack

      • Log in to Outplay and click the Intelligence tab.

       

      • Click Profile and select Settings from the dropdown menu.

       

      • Choose Notifications from the sidebar menu.

       

      • Enable the toggle for Connect to Slack.


      • Sign in to your Slack workspace and give Outplay the necessary permissions.


      Your Outplay account is connected to your Slack account successfully. 


      Configure Slack Notifications

      • Set a default Slack channel to receive notifications: 
        • Go to the Select Slack Channel field and choose the channel you want to receive notifications in.

       

      • Enable Slack notifications: 
        • In the Notifications section, select the checkbox under the Slack column for what you want to be notified about. 

      TIP: You can also select the checkbox under the Email column to receive notifications via email.



      • Preview Slack/Email notifications: 
        • Click the Preview button for any notification to preview your Slack or email notifications.


      • Select a Slack channel for each action: 
        • Navigate to the notification of your choice, click the More Options button, and select the Select Slack Channel option.

       

      • Choose the Slack channel where you want to receive notifications and click Save.

      NOTE: You can create a new channel on Slack and choose to receive notifications in the same. 


      With these simple steps, you can easily set up Slack notifications for Conversation Intelligence on Outplay and stay informed about pre-call actions, call summaries, comments, and action items. By enabling these notifications, you can improve your productivity and never miss an important update about your calls.
