Manage your Opportunities Effectively with Outplay
Outplay allows you to manage and track your opportunities effectively. Keeping track of the stage of an opportunity is crucial to monitoring its progress and ensuring its success. This article will guide you through the process of updating the stage of an opportunity and closing it with a won or lost outcome.
Here’s how you can update the outcome of an opportunity on Outplay:
- Log into Outplay. In the Engagement section, click Opportunities from the sidebar menu.
- Here, you can view all the opportunities created in your account. Select the pipeline containing the opportunity you wish to update.
- Select the opportunity you want to update.
TIP: You can use the Search Bar or Filter option to quickly scan the pipeline and find the opportunity.
- In the selected opportunity, you can view all the available stages of the pipeline in the top panel. You can use the arrow toggles to navigate through the stages. Select a stage to which you want to update the opportunity.
- A confirmation window pops up. Click Continue to update the opportunity.
Close an opportunity with a Won outcome
- You can click the Thumbs Up button to close the opportunity with a Won outcome.
- The Close Opportunity window pops up. Here, you can select the Closing Stage for the opportunity.
- Click Save.
The opportunity is updated successfully.
Close an opportunity with a Lost outcome
- Click the Thumbs Down button to close the opportunity with a Lost outcome.
- The Close Opportunity window pops up. Here, you can select the Closing Stage and the Lost Reason. You can also add essential information for the lost reason in the given field.
- Click Save.
The opportunity is updated successfully.
